Payment & Refund details:
- Credit card payments can be made by American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa only.
- Payments made using the invoice method must be received to the GCSM organizers by September 14, 2018 to ensure timely processing. Any banking/transaction fee related to the processing of money-transfer is the responsibility of the registrant.
- Conference registration fee refunds (including accompanying person fees):
- An administrative fee of 10% of total registration cost will be charged for cancellations received on or before August 31, 2018.
- An administrative fee of 50% of total registration cost will be applied for cancellations received between September 01 through September 21, 2018.
After September 21, 2018 there will be no refund. You can nominate someone else to participate in the conference.
- Only cancellations and nominations made in writing (email: dana.harrod@uky.edu or
FAX: 1-(859) 257-1071) will be accepted.
- With the registration, you give consent to be contacted for future GCSM events and photographs taken at the event to be used for promotional purposes.
- All fees are in U.S. Dollars.
- The registration fee covers attendance to all sessions during the conference and all included meals (welcome reception on Monday, October 1; continental breakfast, lunch, coffee/tea and refreshments during breaks on all three days of the conference; and the banquet dinner on Wednesday, October 3). In addition, paper publication, abstract books and program booklet are included in the registration cost.
- For each accompanying person, an additional $95 will be charged. This fee allows the accompanying person to attend only the banquet dinner on Wednesday October 3.
- At least one author for each submitted paper must register, pay the registration fee and present the paper at the conference for a paper to be published in the proceedings. A submitted paper without a registration will not be scheduled for presentation at the conference or included for publication in Procedia Manufacturing.
- One author is permitted to be the presenting author for no more than two papers. If someone is a co-author in more than two papers, a different co-author will be required to register for the conference, attend and present the other paper(s) to be included in the conference program and proceedings.
- One author must be registered for each paper accepted (subject to above restrictions) before August 31, 2018 for it to be included in the conference program and proceedings. If no author of a paper has registered by this date, the paper will be removed from the conference program and not included in the proceedings. Any special situations which prevents an author from registering by this deadline (e.g.: delays in obtaining visa) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

To be eligible for the subsidized Full-time Student Rate ($400), you will be required to provide a letter of verification from your Department Chair OR your advisor.
